How to Beat Stages in Monkey Evolution

A stage in Monkey Evolution is a new map, a new shop floor, and the same merge rule. You “beat” it when the next zone’s creature can be bought or fused, not when you paint every monkey gold.

What a stage actually is

Store copy promises “different stages and many monkey species.” Official stills show jungle grass, then later a river valley with mountains. Sister Evolution games cap ordinary zones around sixteen bodies and unlock the next zone when you combine the first creature of that zone. Play Monkey Evolution with that grammar: fill the log, raise the shop floor, move on.

The real fail state is a full board

If every tile has a unique leftover, the stage is already lost even if coins are high. Merge according to how to merge, dump obsolete bottoms as the tier list recommends, and stop buying. Beating a stage is an inventory puzzle with a joke skin.

Unlock trigger

Push the current chain until the shop or map offers a new floor. That is the unlock, not a cutscene. If nothing new appears, you are still missing a merge in the current set. Use Monkeypedia silhouettes plus the evolution chart to see how far the local ceiling sits.

Do not confuse stages with side boards

  • Pantheon is a prestige board, not stage 4 of the jungle.
  • Impostors can spawn on a stage without being that stage’s species.
  • Holy Monkey and Titans are collection overlays that may use late stages as their arena.

When the map art shifts to rivers and dark horned apes, you are not in a new genre. Buy the new floor’s cheapest unit, keep holes, climb. Coin trouble is still a coin guide problem. Visitor trouble is still an Impostor problem.

After two or three floors, prestige becomes the next “stage” in disguise. That path is written in how to unlock Pantheon, not here.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about the merge loop, Pantheon, and codes.

How many stages does Monkey Evolution have?

Several jungle-style zones plus prestige boards such as Pantheon. Your Monkeypedia and map list are the live answer; Tapps did not print a public integer.

Is there a boss at the end of a stage?

No health-bar boss. The gate is a merge and a shop floor.

Why did my old monkeys stop being sold?

The floor rose. Old bottoms are leftovers. Merge or sacrifice them.
